This is a blog about airline passenger reservation system design; from data model, through software architecture, business logic, user interface and interfaces to external systems. All examples will be based on modern technology in both computer industry terms and certainly in airline industry terms; SQL Server 2005/2008, C#/ASP.NET 3.5/AJAX, and a bit of Linq and Linq2SQL.

I am Kristofer Andersson, kristofera@gmail.com. Besides authoring this blog I run a small software development and consulting company based in Bangkok, Thailand called Huagati Systems. Drop me a line if you need custom developed software (in any field/industry), or if you have a production system with a SQL Server database that need a performance boost.

I’m originally from Sweden but moved to Thailand in 1999 for a software project, then to Florida in 2002 and back here in 2004. My family consists of me, my wife Angsana who teaches Thai cooking, and our two kids Alex and Viktoria.
